GridPick Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

The short version

GridPick does not collect anything. Table data is read, converted and saved entirely inside your browser. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics and no tracking.

What the extension reads

When you click the GridPick toolbar icon, it reads the structure and text of tables on the page you are looking at. It uses the activeTab permission, which means it can only do this on the tab that is open in front of you, and only at the moment you click. It cannot read pages in the background, and it cannot read a page you have not clicked the icon on.

That table data is held in your browser only as long as it takes to show you a preview and produce the file or clipboard content you asked for.

What is stored on your device

What leaves your browser

One thing, and only if you buy Pro: when you activate a licence key, the key is sent to the payment provider that issued it (Dodo Payments) so it can confirm the purchase, and the extension re-checks it about once a week. Nothing else is transmitted. Your table data is never sent anywhere, to us or to anyone else.

If you never enter a licence key, GridPick makes no network requests at all.

What we do not do

Payment data

Purchases are handled entirely by the payment provider. GridPick never sees or stores your card details. The provider's own privacy policy covers that transaction.

Children

GridPick is a productivity tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the URL listed on the Chrome Web Store page, with a new date at the top.
